Paywall Movie Screening

Paywall is a documentary which focuses on the need for open access to research and questions the rationale behind the $25 billion a year that flows into for-profit academic publishers, where top academic publisher are making a 35-40% profit margin, even greater than the most profitable tech companies like Apple, Facebook and Google.

The movie is an hour long and will be followed by a facilitated discussion and an Apero.

The event takes place on 24 October 2018 between 5.30-8.00 pm in the auditorium of the Zoological Museum at UZH.  Registration is free, including the apero.  Register here.
