Outman is an Italian PhD student in Neuroprosthetics at EPFL. He has always been intrigued by the potential of electronics and technology for improved healthcare: connecting humans to machines, he wants to tackle some of the biggest challenges in medicine in the 21st century. He obtained a Bachelor in Electronics in Italy and China, then he graduated with a Master in Nanotechnologies, living in Italy, France, Switzerland and the US.
Passionate about science since he was 3, now he wants to spread his enthusiasm around the globe: to the young to inspire and to the adults to raise awareness.
Outman will represent Switzerland at the international FameLab competition in Cheltenham in June 2019. Congratulations & good luck!
