Life Science nanoTalks

Are you working in a fascinating field? Do you care to share your passion for your research topic?

Then join the Life Science nanoTalks  - a program organized by reatch and Life Science Zurich. The nanoTalks are a platform for inspiring and stimulating talks within the arts, sciences, and technologies. The nanoTalks strive to facilitate networking, provide a training platform for speakers to give talks to a broader audience, assist speakers in creating simple and generally understandable talks on complex issues, and inspire the audience with new ideas. For a overview on previous nanoTalks see https://www.reatch.ch/de/content/nano-talks.

This is your chance to get training in how to give such a talk yourself. The number of participants is restricted to 8 - so be quick to save your spot. After the workshop on the art of scientific storytelling by Mirko Bischofberger from Science Studios, you will give your own nanoTalk - a captivating 10min presentation to an audience with diverse backgrounds.

This workshop will take place in the morning of Monday, October 15 (ETH or Zurich University). We will inform you on time and place at the end of September

The dates and topics of the Life Science nanoTalks will be scheduled after the workshop. They will take place on the last Thursday every month at ETH or University of Zurich starting in November 2018.

We are looking forward to organizing a diverse series of nanoTalks on current challenges and research topics in life sciences and hope that you’re joining us.

Please register for the program by September 14 by sending an email to info@lifescience.uzh.ch.

With kind regards
